"Dingus Bar Special"

Using the Revell kit for this one. Great kit with many options inside. Most importantly is the flathead V8.

This stock body won't look like this long.

Did some cutting and tweaking of the body and have it in primer.

The H&R rear bulkhead is trimmed and drilled for mounting.

Using card stock and styrene tubing, we make our interior tray.

The body is painted and interior test fitted.

My son helps me bend the frame rails.

He did a great job! We then measured and cut our front axle and housing.

Front bumper in various stages.

Rear bumper and mounts.

Side nerf bars added.

Completed and ready for paint.

Test fitting the body one last time.

After painting, we decided to add a few details. We glued the styrene to the brass using Testors model glue.

We then repainted the chassis.

The body decaled and screen added.

Completed.
