Artin Track

Although the Artin track is one of my favorites, like other brands made today it sometimes needs a little attention to get it to make the best electrical contact possible. Artin track does connect and disconnect very easily, but sometimes if you change your layout often it might become loose at the connection points causing dead spots in your course.

The quick solution is to slightly bend the female ends of the track inward. Using a small flat tip screwdriver, insert it as shown and bend it to resemble the track I have shown in the photo. And that's it, your finished. Now re-assemble the track and test the connection. You will notice that the track is now a little tighter when you assemble it, this is exactly what you want. I have had a 100% success rate with this small adjustment so it will most likely help you if your having electrical issues in your track circuit.
