Welcome To Our Slot Car Shop

Although our store isn't the largest slot car shop you will ever see, we have tried to create a comfortable environment for you to have fun in and so far I think we have succeeded. You won't have to go behind the trains or around the R/C section to get to the slot cars. We are 100% dedicated to the hobby of home racing and we always look forward to racing with you.
There are NO FEES for "track time", rental cars or controllers, it is all FREE for everyone to enjoy.
Even if you are just getting started and do not have cars, you can always use mine. I have a good selection of models that are currently available for you to test-drive and race. (Don't worry about breaking them, I have taken care of that already:)
Our goal is to have enough racers for our Artin 4
Lane NASCAR "Show-Me Speedway" to create a weekly series. We are of course
concentrating on racing Classic Carrera NASCARS, Scalextric Modern NASCAR and
IRL but you can pick any class you want and hit the track:)

The second layout we have constructed is the new Artin Dixon Hills Speedway. We constructed this layout to show enthusiasts how easy it is to paint and detail a track to create a more realistic driving experience.
You can click here or on the photo at the left to see our construction methods for building this track. It is easier than you might think and only takes 2 of the Artin 4 Lane Sets to complete the layout.

Because if the success of that Artin track, we have created 2 other tracks for people to try. The first is a Scalextric Sport Circuit 3 layout with only using the track included in this particular set (WYSIWYG). Why Circuit 3? Because it has enough STRAIGHTS in the set to have fun with in my opinion (this oval is a little more than 9 feet) and that it is available at a decent price. The instructions on the wall show other layout suggestions and how easy it is to assemble.

The
second track is a TOMY HO scale track that is still under construction. We enjoy
the Johnny Lightning Thunder Jets and the new X-Traction models and wanted a
place to race, test and tune them. We also like running the vintage T-Jets and
we have found out that our area has more of these enthusiasts than we first
thought.
As with the Sport Layout, this track will become larger and be fully detailed with scenery and have a variety of after-market upgrades to choose from.
Vintage and Modern NASCAR will be the theme.

We
invite all of you to come join us in the fun. Even if you want to just drop in
for some free coffee and a little "bench racing" we would enjoy the company! We
are open all weekend with flexible hours so that no matter when you find the
time, you can most likely find us here:)
