Slot Cars + Hot Rod Magazine! What a combination for this new series from Auto World.

This is a great idea. Take a cool hobby like slot cars and package them in eye-catching HOT ROD Magazine box art.

Each car has it's own car cover printed above it along with the year of the magazine. There are 6 cars in this release (Release 10).

The design of each car is well executed for my eyes. Then again, I am not that picky. A couple chrome offerings and a "iWheels" white version of the Vega.

These are cool "mancave" collectibles that should fall into the hands of many Hot Rod enthusiasts. And what a great way to "remind" a lot of people about our hobby of slot car racing and collecting. Maybe some innocent hot rodder will get a couple of these at Christmas and it brings back all those fond memories. You never know, it might make them start this hobby all over again.

So for that reason alone I have to commend Auto World for this release. Not to mention the cool cars!
