HO Scale 1974 GMC ASTRO With Trailer (Release 3)

LIMITED EDITION KISS RACING RIG

"What a great theme for a Racing Rig" is what I thought to myself when I opened the box containing the latest from Auto World.

Aimed directly at the adult collector, this release combines classic trucking with one of the most popular rock and roll bands to ever take the stage.

The box is very well done and will look great on any collector shelf.

The image on the back is classic.

Detail level is very good in my eyes.

The images on the side remind me of the solo album covers the band members released.

Do you remember that?

Nothing seems to epitomize 70's Trucking like a cabover. For this scale, I think it looks great.

For those that race these rigs, you might like the setup.

Guide blades on the rear axles that pivot help keep it in line.

The standard chassis is here along with yet another guide blade in the rear.

Regardless on how you feel about collectibles, you have to give Auto World credit. They are really creating some very interesting options in HO Scale. This rig is simply too cool to pass up. If you are already collecting these rigs, this one is a must have for the shelf or for that added detail on the track.
