Derby City Shoot-Out III
Part II

Mark has built one of the finest Carrera road courses I have ever raced on. There are multiple controller hook-ups so that you can move from one side of the track to the other to allow you to choose your perspective. All the added scenery just makes it even better and is the centerpiece of the basement.

A variety of cars were on hand for this event, but sooner or later the Fly Classics take over. After this, it seemed the NINCO classics were the order of the day. These were some of the best racing I had the chance to do.

Above, world famous slot car author Rich McMahon (left) does battle with our host. On the upper right is my son Anthony enjoying the action.

We even had royalty visit again this year as Shawn Smith arrived ready for battle. He is one of the best racers I have ever met. LocoRacer Tom and Guy go at it in the early hours of the event.

And we cannot forget to eat can we? Here we see a prime example of the little burgers I like to make. Above, Kurt Moser seems to know what they are all about:)

This is what this hobby is really all about. Getting together with good friends and enjoying ourselves. We had great fun racing as well as getting the chance to meet more of you in person.
