Time for another great slot car weekend! Every year we hold a small event for our close friends to simply get together and fun. We have special cars mailed in for our Jalopy & Trans-Am proxy which made this an even better event. It is not just about the cars though, it's about the great folks we meet because of this hobby.
Here are a few photos from the fun :)
Pete and Rick from Texas are the first to arrive.
It seems the new oval is "approved".
Rick brought some of the new and cool Carrera Morgans he painted.
They also brought their entries in the HRW Trans-Am/SCCA Series.
Time for a snack! The Generals new sauce plus Texas sausage!
Can't forget the bombers!
We also had a mail in proxy for the H&R Jalopys! Here is the Northeast Coast Gang!
Carl sent in one wild ride!
Terry also mailed in! What a cool field!
What a cool car!
Oops...looks like a wreck to me!
Time for another snack...POW FATTY!
Norb from Chicago built this and gave it to me as a gift. Just too cool Norb! Thanks!
Check out this field of H&R cars!
What a showing for this series!
The Jalopy we built for Norb.
