Novi, Michigan
The Novi Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum is located North-West of Detroit. A small routed slot car track is one of the popular attractions at this modest museum. This track was made by Steve Ogilvie. It is an elongated figure eight with a banked turn that is really fun. I maintain the track and a small fleet of rental cars for the museum.
Please stop in and see the museum and the track. The track is surrounded by old racing vehicles and memorabilia. Parma rental cars are available or you can run your own cars but you will definitely need silicone tires installed.
You may also need to bring your own controllers to run the current 1/32-scale cars because I am utilizing Parma 4 Ohm rental controllers. I suggest a 25 to 45 Ohm controller with alligator clips.
The museum is just off the Novi Road exit on I-96. The entrance is located under the water tower of the Novi Expo center.
